Welcome to Episode 14 of the Faith, Tech, and Space PODCAST.

There is plenty of news across our three-fold spectrum for this episode. To kick things off, I provide wrap up details about the PC build I did in the last two weeks including the hiccups and future options. I forget just how much fun building a new PC can be and how exhilarating and nerve wracking it is to turn the power on for the first time!

Still on hiatus with diaconate formation, there are updates on preparations for our second year as we move forward including our annual retreat and vocations board interview.

In tech, we have updates about both Windows and Edge Insider Programs including the latest builds, features, and enhancements which are being worked on in development. Some pretty neat work is happening in both areas.

We also have a list of headlines in tech from Microsoft, Apple (and Epic Games & WordPress), Google, and miscellaneous tech including Twitter, Chromium, Amazon, and Toshiba. It was really sad to hear that Toshiba will no longer build laptops after 35 years of making them.

In a run through gaming news, we talk about the successful launch of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, the recent run on joysticks and flight control peripherals, and the confirmation of the Xbox Series S console thanks to a controller leak.

In space there is news from NASA, ULA, and SpaceX as they continue to launch rockets despite the pandemic impacting operations.

I close with an upcoming drama from Netflix on the human toll during a manned mission to Mars and Amazon’s potential plan to take over empty stores at malls to help with product distribution.

Thanks for tuning in and giving a listen to Faith, Tech, and Space as we continue this unique journey.

Blessings.
